I provide coaching, not therapy. Coaching focuses on support, clarity, skills, goal setting, and forward movement. Coaching is not about telling a father how he should grieve. It is about giving him a dedicated space to find language for his experience, explore what he needs, and consider what moving forward might look like without leaving his baby behind.
My Grief Coaching is for fathers navigating the aftermath of baby loss. Whether you are seeking baby loss resources, trying to help your partner, or grappling with the uniqueness of your grief, I am committed to being a guide along your healing journey.
Coaching with me is not about 'fixing' or 'pushing past' your grief. My grief coaching for fathers provides a safe space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold it together. You can be quiet, angry, or even numb. You can also want your life back in pieces—and not feel guilty for that. My goal is for you to discover how meaning can coexist alongside pain.
Together, we will move through the common phases that bereaved fathers experience. We will navigate identity after loss, exploring how you carry grief, guilt, and anger, as well as relationships, while focusing on daily life. Additionally, we will identify essential baby loss resources to aid in your healing journey, establish a simple surge plan, and outline support options to help you create a path forward for the hard days—so you don’t feel abandoned when grief coaching ends.
You stay in control of the pace as we walk this phase of your journey together. I’ll never force you to share more than you are willing. We’ll begin with where you are, choose one focus, and conclude with something concrete—so you leave steadier than you arrived.
Some fathers may find that 12 sessions of grief coaching are beneficial, while others may need 16 sessions to delve deeper into their experience. Whatever your journey looks like, we’ll collaborate to determine the right approach based on your unique circumstances and needs. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way.
The cost of coaching varies based on the level of support you require and the right coaching pathway that aligns with your journey. We will discuss this upfront, ensuring you understand the available options, the investment involved, and what makes sense before we move forward. I also want our conversation about cost to be honest and flexible. Money should never be a barrier to getting the support you need, so if budget is a concern, we can explore options together.
