Grief Coaching for Fathers: About Kelly Jean-Philippe

Black and white portrait of a man in a plain t-shirt.

Support Grounded in Lived and Professional Experience

I’m Kelly Jean-Philippe, MDiv—a bereaved father and the founder of Dad Always.

After walking through four miscarriages with my wife, I came to understand how deeply fathers can grieve—and how easily our grief can go unnoticed. This experience pushed me to create valuable resources for baby loss that can help other fathers navigate their pain.

With ten years of healthcare chaplaincy experience, I’ve learned to sit with people through grief, trauma, crisis, and uncertainty. This has taught me how to listen without rushing, remain present when there is no easy answer, and respect how differently people carry loss.

That combination of lived experience and professional insight shapes every part of Dad Always where I provide grief coaching, practical resources, and support for grieving dads through peer connections.
