I provide coaching, not therapy. My grief coaching focuses on support, clarity, skills, goal setting, and forward movement, especially for those navigating baby loss resources. If you’re unsure what kind of support is right for you or if you’re seeking support for dads, we can talk about it together.
Most men feel disoriented after experiencing baby loss. They often strive to maintain their composure, support their partner, manage responsibilities, and process a grief that may be hard to articulate—all while neglecting their own need to heal. Dad Always Coaching offers valuable grief coaching tailored for men navigating the aftermath of baby loss. Whether you are seeking support for dads, trying to help your partner, or grappling with the uniqueness of your grief, I provide essential resources to validate your feelings and aid your healing journey.
Coaching with me is not about 'fixing' or 'pushing past' your grief. My grief coaching provides a safe space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or hold it together. You can be quiet, angry, or even numb. You can also want your life back in pieces—and not feel guilty for that. For dads navigating these feelings, there are baby loss resources available, and my goal is for you to discover how meaning can exist alongside pain.
Together, we will move through the common phases that bereaved fathers experience. We will navigate identity after loss, exploring how you carry grief, guilt, and anger, as well as relationships, while focusing on support for dads in daily life. Additionally, we will identify essential baby loss resources, establish a simple surge plan, and outline support options to help you create a path forward for the hard days—so you don’t feel abandoned when grief coaching ends.
You stay in control of the pace as we navigate through baby loss resources together. I’ll never force you to share more than you are willing. We’ll begin with where you are, choose one focus, and conclude with something concrete—so you leave steadier than you arrived. This process can also provide valuable grief coaching and support for dads who are facing similar challenges.
Some fathers may benefit from 12 sessions of grief coaching, while others may require 16 to explore their feelings with more space and depth. Whatever your path, we’ll work together to determine the right approach based on what you’re carrying and what you need. Our baby loss resources and support for dads are here to help you through this journey.
I bring serious training and real experience to this work. Holding a Master of Divinity degree and with ten years as a healthcare chaplain, I’ve been present with people in moments of grief, crisis, trauma, uncertainty, and loss that most others never witness. This experience has equipped me to listen deeply, stay present even when answers are elusive, and respect the profound weight of what someone is enduring. Through Dad Always, I provide essential support for dads as they navigate their grief, offering a steady space to speak honestly, sift through what feels impossible, and start finding language for the love, pain, and fatherhood that continues after loss. I also share valuable baby loss resources and grief coaching tailored to help fathers on this journey.

Fatherhood took on a different meaning for me after experiencing baby loss. I used to think being a dad meant having living children, but my loss made it clear that fatherhood endures beyond grief, even when the world often fails to make space for it.
Despite my years of professional experience in providing support for dads who are grieving, my own losses shifted my perspective. I confronted the reality that fathers often carry profound grief with very little acknowledgment, language, or support available to them.
In my search for baby loss resources specifically tailored for dads, I discovered a significant gap. This realization led to the creation of Dad Always.
My work combines personal experience and professional insight to offer grief coaching for dads who feel overlooked and need a space to express their pain without justification. I aim to provide an environment where these men can be honest, supported, and truly understood. My approach is grounded in empathy and curiosity, embracing the belief that strength lies not just in holding it together for others, but also in allowing oneself to receive support.
What could fatherhood beyond loss look like for you, and how can baby loss resources, grief coaching, and support for dads provide guidance on this journey?
